Kiwanis Club of Okemos has served the Meridian/Okemos community for over fifty years. “The Okemos Kiwanis Club is where a need is served”. Our club welcomes you to become involved as volunteers to serve our community.
Our club through camaraderie among its members instills fun and friendship in our meetings and activities. We take pleasure in knowing that our efforts will benefit the Okemos/Meridian community and its citizens regardless of gender, race, or profession.
Our members represent a diverse cross-section of professions: business, lawyers, teachers, professors, engineers, housewives, police chief, assessors, floor contractor, jeweler, etc., who are committed for the better good of the community.
You are welcome to know more about us and join the fun by visiting us every Tuesday evening for dinner at 6:15 PM at the Okemos Community Church, 4734 N. Okemos Road. Our meetings include different speakers or honoring student citizens of the month, discussion of projects, etc.
