    • The First Gentleman of the State of Michigan - Mr. Dan Mulhern - will be our special guest and he will be broadcasting his recently-launched nightly radio show live from our Kiwanis Club meeting on Tuesday, July 10 at Okemos Community Church. We will be the audience for the live broadcast, and the evening will be the centerpiece of our new member recruitment drive. Mr. Mulhern will speak about issues of leadership, volunteerism, etc., and we will participate with our questions/comments to him. The broadcast airs from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

      The evening will start with dinner earlier at 5:00 p.m. in order to be finished in time for the broadcast After the broadcast, Mr. Mulhern will be available for interaction and book-signing of his recent book. There will be several copies of his book available for purchase at the meeting. This night is goal night to bring our prospective new members whom we will have been recruiting between now and July 10. There will be more information about that to come. Meanwhile, get busy deciding who you want to invite to join our Club and make your contacts. We want to make an especially good effort and impression for our Club.
